Wow… It’s been such a crazy couple of weeks! Shooting, editing, traveling and working like a mad person trying to get everything finalized and delivered to my amazing 2017 senior clients. :) This is so typical for this time of year as my busy senior season starts to dwindle down, just as the beauty of fall slowly starts to fade into the wonder of winter. Things have been moving at a rapid pace, it kinda sorta feels like I blinked and October flew right past me. Am I alone, or are any of you feeling the same way?

There have been so many awesome things developing behind the scenes that have also been keeping me on my toes. I have a few educational projects in the works that I can’t wait to share with all of you and as soon as they’re ready to go, you’ll be the first to know. I am so excited to share some of my favorites from Kali’s senior session on the blog today! You might recognize this gorgeous girl because she’s no stranger to my blog, as she is one of my amazing Class of 2017 Senior Models! While planning Kali’s session, she had a certain look and feel in mind. She didn’t want to have her pictures taken in a common location, she really wanted something lush, natural and unique. We tossed around several location ideas, but nothing seemed quite right, until I remembered a little gem of a place that I rarely get to shoot in. A true Secret Garden, hidden within the confines of weathered stone walls, massive Douglas Firs and gorgeous, lush greenery that makes my heart swoon. When I shared this idea with Kali, we both knew this was the perfect spot for her senior pictures.

Kali, I absolutely love working with you and I had so much fun spending the day with you, your mom and your friends! You absolutely rocked this session and I just love how all of your pictures turned out! It has been so much fun getting to know you over the year. You are such an amazing girl! You know exactly who you are and what you stand for and you make no apologies for that- and I LOVE that about you! :) Thank you so, so much for choosing to be a part of my 2017 Senior Model Team and for choosing me to be your senior photographer!
