Happy Monday! I hope you’re all soaking up as much of the summer sun as you possibly can, while it lasts! Several weeks ago, I was contacted by Jamie Dalton of BP4U Photography Resources, who asked if I was interested in being featured on their blog. Of course, I was absolutely honored and so excited for the incredible opportunity, I eagerly jumped at the chance to collaborate with them. They requested that I write up an article with tips to share with their audience. I am so excited to announce that my blog feature, Tips for Rockin’ a Senior Session is now live on their website! If you’re interested in learning how I work with my clients and the things I look for during a session, this article is for just you! Be sure to check it out, share with your friends and join the conversation!
Special thanks to BP4U for reaching out and giving me this amazing opportunity to share my love for what I do. XO!
We’ve been a little (or a lot) workshop crazy here at the YF Headquarters. From 1-on-1 workshops to group events spanning from Oregon to Michigan. Needless to say, it has been non-stop fun and chaos- and I’ve been loving every single minute of it! ;) I’ve offered various educational opportunities to photographers since 2010, both individually through online mentoring and in-person for a 1-on-1 or in a group environment. Evoke Education for photographers was born from my passion for photography, branding, marketing and working with teen girls. It’s all about inspiration, building a solid foundation for your business, strengthening your shooting and posing skills, developing an authentic brand that can grow with you over the years and falling in love with your business all over again. And it’s FUN!!
Back in May, I had the opportunity to work with Chelsea Taylor, who travelled up to Oregon from Kansas for her 1-on-1 Workshop experience. Chelsea is such an amazing person, as well as an incredible photographer! She has such an infectious smile and a killer personality, spending the whole day with her was absolutely awesome! Chelsea recently wrote a review about her experience at our 1-on-1 Workshop. If you’re considering one of our workshops or mentoring, I strongly encourage you to read what she had to say.
To Hadley, one of our amazing models (who also happens to be one of my 2015 senior clients!), I can’t thank you enough for simply being you. It was so awesome to get you in front of my camera again!! You know how much I LOVE working with you and I really hope we can do it again soon! Thank you so much for your patience and willingness to model for us. I hope you had as much fun as we did!! And girl, you are STUNNING! Much love! XO!

We have quite the team of girls this year, I feel so fortunate that our crew of 24 chose to represent our business and be the face of our company. Our team is quite unique, as we have Senior Models in various towns and cities across the state, which gives us the opportunity to work with clients from all over Oregon! I absolutely love that!! Madie is one of our Bend Senior Models, which is one of my favorite places to shoot!

Happy Friday!! I successfully managed to blog five days this week- which is a major triumph, if you ask me- especially considering all of the chaos the end of the school year has brought to our family! ;) With any luck, I’ll be able to continue this blogging trend and get back on track with having constant content posted here! I have a huge backlog of posts to share, don’t be surprised if you see some weekend posts coming your way, too.

The next girl from our 2016 Senior Model Team that we’re introducing is Edie! She’s one of our incredible Central Oregon girls from Bend! Edie came out for our Country Chic shoot that we did on a gorgeous, sunny morning. This group shoot was so much fun, as the three senior models are all friends from school, which made the session even better. It was so cool that they could share in the experience together! Edie, you are simply gorgeous- inside and out. I can’t thank you enough for being so amazing to work with and for choosing to represent Young & Free. I’m absolutely honored to have you on my 2016 Senior Model Team! I absolutely loved working with you and can’t wait to get you back in front of my camera for your senior session! Much love!!
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to work with Chelsea Taylor, an amazing photographer from Kansas, who travelled up to Oregon for a 1-on-1 Workshop with me. I’ve offered 1-on-1 education opportunities for a few years now and I absolutely love them. It’s a unique teaching scenario, as it’s focused whole-heartedly on the individual attendee, which allows us to dig deep and tap into specific topics, catered around their needs. We spend the entire day talking about their business, their struggles and success, marketing and branding strategies, pricing, posing & lighting, and so much more. For the second half of the day, we get even more hands-on and go on-location with three GORGEOUS high school models for portfolio building, giving the attendee the perfect opportunity to put everything into practice. All in all, it’s a full day, filled with inspiration, education and fun!
I absolutely LOVED having the opportunity to work with Chelsea 1-on-1, not only was she excited and receptive to everything we covered, she was eager to learn. We connected immediately, within minutes of her arriving at my house, it felt like she and I had been friends for years. And I loved that about her. Chelsea recently wrote a review about the workshop from her experience, I urge you to check it out, especially if you’re considering whether or not a 1-on-1 Workshop is the right fit for you. Chelsea, I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to travel to Oregon and spend the day with me. I think the world of you and I’m absolutely thrilled at the friendship we now share. XO!!
To Adrienne, one of our AMAZING models for the event, I cannot begin to thank you enough for being so awesome!! I loved working with you, I hope you had as much fun as we did! You are such an awesome girl and you ROCKED this shoot!! I hope to get you in front of my camera again soon!! Much love!!
