I am so excited to announce that next week we will be kicking off our Fall Evoke Mentorship! The Evoke Mentorship is a six week intensive course that takes place online, in the comfort of your own home via FaceTime or Skype (whichever you prefer). We will meet each week to cover a multitude of topics involving the business of senior photography, focusing on key areas within your business. This course is all about YOU, we will talk through your struggles and successes, because both are important for your continued success. Together, we will cultivate an authentic brand, marketing strategy and a solid foundation for your photography empire.

When I started my business, I was filled with passion and an eagerness to learn all things photography. That was an exciting time for me and I loved absorbing everything I could. But, what I quickly learned was that a love for photography wasn’t enough to be successful. There was the business side of being a professional photographer- which wasn’t nearly as fun or exciting. Pricing, branding, websites, marketing, gaining clients, getting my name out there, building a portfolio, choosing products… the list was endless. And daunting.

If you’re in this place now, I’ve been there. I know exactly what you’re going through. And I want to help see you through it, share my experiences, give insight, strategize creative ideas and plans for your business. I want to be your cheerleader, but more than that, I want to be your photography mentor.

We have designed a scheduled based on the topics we’ve consistently covered over the past five years of offering our Mentorship. Depending on your specific needs, we can customize this schedule to best suit you and your photography business. Keep in mind, our calls will be a conversation, not a lecture. Any questions, thoughts and ideas you have will be addressed weekly.

Week Two: Website & Branding (website/blog/branding critique)
Week Three: Posing & Lighting (image critique)
Week Four: Social Media & Marketing
Week Five: Senior Model Programs & Referral Programs
Week Six: Community Building & Final Wrap Up

There are only five seats per mentoring session. You will have a handful of assignments to complete each week, these assignments are a crucial element in the mentoring process.
