It’s a rainy day here in Oregon, which kind of puts my soul at ease. I know that might sound strange, maybe even a little crazy, but what can I say? I’m an Oregon girl. The rain soothes me. It inspires me and oddly enough, makes me feel creative. This is probably why I love to write when it rains, it gets my imagination going and the ideas moving. :) Rainy days are some of my favorites. For those of you out there who loathe the rain, just know this PNW girl loves the rain enough for both of us. For reals.

I am so excited to share Erin’s gorgeous senior session today! I absolutely adore this girl and have had the opportunity to work with her a handful of times over the past six months, as she is one of my amazing Class of 2016 Senior Models! When we started planning for her session, Erin had several ideas for her shoot, specifically wanting color and florals. I was so thrilled to try out a new location, so we planned to shoot at a local Rose Garden- which I must add I am now OBSESSED with! It was breathtakingly beautiful. And Erin ROCKED her session. A fun little fact about this shoot, we shot it mid-day in full sun. I love to challenge myself and shooting with limited shade in the middle of the day with not a cloud in sight- definitely a challenge- but the results? Absolutely lovely. :)
