Yesterday I found myself on the other side of the lens. You know, the side where most photographers cringe to be. Yes. That side. Truth be told, I was in desperate need of updating my headshots, given it was four years ago that I last had them taken. Shocking, right? As I said, it was definitely time. If you saw the question I posted on yesterday’s blog post about my hair, after posting some sneak peeks from my shoot and receiving lots of sweet comments, I’m happy to announce that I’ve decided not to cut my hair. It looks like long, beach waves are the direction I am moving in. At least for now, anyway. ;)
Now that Fall is here and our schedule is filling in with sessions and other various engagements, we have just a handful of sessions time left for October & November. Today I am so excited to share Alyssa’s senior session with you! I had the opportunity to travel up to Corvallis to meet with her recently and explore their fabulous downtown area, which was so much fun! Alyssa is one of my amazing Class of 2016 Senior Models, so you can imagine how excited I was to get her back in front of my camera! All of my senior models were involved in group shoots this past Spring, which was a great opportunity for all of us to get to know each other and for them to see firsthand what a photo shoot is like. Alyssa, I have absolutely loved getting to know and work with you. You are such an amazing girl and a pure sweetheart! I can’t thank you enough for choosing to be a part of my team and for choosing me to be your senior photographer. I know that your future is so bright and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for you!
