It’s official: the last of our group workshops are open to everyone- this includes people within my typical shooting area in Oregon! We used to have an area restriction, but as we wind down to the last of our group workshops, I’ve decided to open them up to anyone and everyone interested in attending. I hope to see you at our next workshop! For the record, we are doing away with group workshops and focusing on 1-on-1 workshops, going forward.
August 5th & 6th, 2014
Join us for two full days of hands-on learning, working on location and shooting beautiful models. Each workshop includes 2 photo shoots, one on each of the two days of the event. Day One will be all about posing and interaction. We will work on-location with our models. My goal is to teach you how to pose and interact with clients- so they will need direction from you. I will be there to help and assist in perfecting the posing, showing you little tips and tricks along the way. I will cover angles, perspective, variation, hands, feet and so much more. Key topics on this day are: Specializing, Inspiration, Branding, Posing, Lighting, Expression and Communication.
Day Two is all about inspiration and creation. A themed concept will be designed for you with various locations to shoot in, the theme for August is Native Summer. This is a visual playground intended to get your creative wheels moving- let your imagination run free! We will have more models for you to work with, I will continue to assist you with your posing and showing you various ways to work within each area, utilizing the space. Key topics covered on this day are: Concepts & Styled Shoots, Marketing, Websites & Social Media, Post-Processing, Pricing, Products and Senior Rep & Referral Programs. There will be time allotted each day for Q&A sessions- I am an open book and no questions are off limits.
Each day we will meet for a keynote presentation covering the key topics. Our afternoons will be spent shooting. Throughout the event, I will be fully available, answering questions, giving suggestions and talking through each process.
