So, I am in Portland until Monday for the PPO– Professional Photographer’s of Oregon.  Every year they put together 3 conventions across Oregon.  They bring in stellar photographers from all over the US to speak and inspire- I always leave feeling like I can conquer the world!!  At the June seminar this past summer I was able to meet David Jay and TJ Cameron, it was AWESOME!!  This time around I get to meet my idol, Jasmine Star.  I know, I know…  I keep talking about it, but I am just so thrilled!  Forgive a giddy girl!!!

The drive up was a breeze, the weather was amazing!  Here’s a picture I took while driving up I-5, we were going about 70 mph.  My trusty 70-200 did the job nicely!  This is Mount Hood in all her glory.

Tonight was the kick off to the convention.  Jeff and I arrived in time to get settled in and then we headed straight down to the mock wedding they put on.  It was pretty comical, but very informative with some great tips from some of the industry leaders.  Here are some of the photo’s we got:
