All summer long I toyed with the idea of cutting off my hair. Here it is September and I’m still chewing on the idea, feeling indecisive as ever. When it comes to my hair, I have to be honest, I’m lazy. A messy bun is about as glamorous as I get. Lately my ponytail holders have become more of a security blanket for me, the second I can’t find one, panic ensues. With that said, you can imagine my hesitation on chopping off my locks, though this seems to be a vicious game I play on myself time and time again. Cut it off, grow it out, chop it short, let it grow… I need insight, internet friends, what should I do? Cut or grow? You tell me.
In other news, which is way more important than my hair dilemma, I am so excited to share these pictures of Haley on the blog today! Haley was a recent model at a 1-on-1 workshop I taught to the amazing, Heidi Laperle, who travelled down to Oregon from Washington. I’ve known Heidi for a few years now and I absolutely adore her! It has been so incredible to watch her grow her business and become the photographer that she is today. And having the opportunity to spend the day with her, talking business, branding and all things photography, was such a treat! :)
You may recognize the gorgeous girl featured in this post, as she was also one of my lovely Class of 2015 senior clients (see her session here). Haley, you are beautiful inside and out! I always love having the opportunity to work with you and I just think the world of you! Thank you so much for coming out to model for us, for your patience as we talked through all of the poses and for simply being you. Much love!!
