It’s October 3rd. If you understand the significance of this day, we’re friends. ;) For those of who know me, you probably know how much I love movies. The October 3rd reference comes from one of my all-time favorites, Mean Girls, which has some of the funniest quotes that still get me every time! I’m pulling an all-day edit session in my office today and you better believe I’ll be hanging with the Plastics in honor of National Mean Girls Day. If you love movies as much as I do, please share some of your favorites- I am always looking for new films to check out!
I have a busy week ahead of me, as my hubby and I are traveling up to Seattle for the weekend for Click Away! It doesn’t seem possible that a year has already passed since my adventure to San Antonio last Fall for Click Away 2015! That was such an amazing experience and I am so honored to be teaching four more classes this year! Are you attending CA? If so, please come say hello and let’s connect! Some of my classes are sold out, but there is still room at a few of them, if you’d like to join me on the streets of Seattle. One class will be on posing with fluidity, capturing movement and bringing out the personality of your client. The other class is on planning and executing a senior group shoot, perfect for photographers who currently have or intend to add-on senior model programs. It’s going to be such an amazing few days and I hope to see you there! For more info on Click Away, CLICK HERE.
As mentioned before, I am an editing machine right now! It has been such a crazy senior season, which is a good thing, but it has left little time for me to actually blog the sessions I’ve been doing. I am so excited to start showcasing my gorgeous clients and share their senior sessions! I am still in the thick of my senior season, but as the cold, wet weather is starting to set in, my season starts to taper off. This means more time for blogging, so definitely expect to see lots of posts, friends!
Despite the rain outside my window today, the sun is still vibrant and alive in Kennedy’s sun-filled senior session featured today! Kennedy is one of my beautiful Central Oregon seniors, who lives over in Bend. Wanting a mix of urban and natural locations, Kennedy chose to do her session in Downtown Bend and at a nearby park, which provided both options. It was such a gorgeous, hot day and the light was just incredible. And my client? Well, she absolutely slayed her senior session! Kennedy, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to be your senior photographer and more than that, for being a part of my amazing 2017 Senior Model Team! I have LOVED getting to know you and work with you on several occasions. I think the world of you and can’t wait for more fun ahead! I hope you love your senior pictures! Much love!
