I was eight years old when my Aunt Trena and Uncle Mike found out they were having a baby. I was so excited! Beyond excited, thrilled! When Derek was born, he was considered “My Baby”. I did everything for that child- fed him, changed him, played with him, I was literally at his side 24/7. My Aunt said that she could barely lift a finger for him because I wanted to do it all! :) He was mine and I adored him to pieces. Two years later, they had Grant. Now I had two children that “belonged” to me. I loved every minute of it!
Growing up, Derek and Grant have always been more like my little brothers than my cousins. I love that we are so close! We love to give each other a bad time and then laugh it all off, that’s just how we roll. We can say whatever we want to about each other, but nobody else better say anything or we might have to throw down! It’s awesome!
About 6 months ago, we had addition to the family, Rahein. He moved in with Mike and Trena a few months before being shipped off to Marine Corp Bootcamp. Rahein is an honorary family member, he is like another brother to all of us! He just graduated from Bootcamp a few weeks ago and is on leave until next Monday. Over Mother’s Day we decided it was the perfect opportunity to get some pics of the three boys! I adore these photos about as much as I adore these boys! :) I’m lucky to have three amazing, upstanding men to call my family, to call mine! Enjoy!
The image below just makes me laugh! They had the hardest time not messing around with each other, so this is totally how the session was the majority of the time!
