This past winter, I had the opportunity to photograph, Savannah, a Portland high school senior. She wanted urban-inspired senior pictures, which was so much fun! Winter weather can be totally unpredictable, especially in Oregon, but we totally lucked out and managed to avoid the rain. It did, however, begin to pour, soon after we wrapped her session.
Savannah is such a little fashionista and let me tell you, I was ga-ga over each of her fabulous outfits! Head-to-toe, this girl was impeccable! I am a girl who generally rocks flannels and leggings, so I was thoroughly impressed by her natural fashion-sense. The gorgeous floral dress coat, fury vest and the knee-high boots were absolute perfection. Savannah, you slayed it, girl!!
Urban sessions are always such a fun change for me and I always jump at the chance to do them. Don’t get me wrong, I am all about nature and I love nothing more than exploring forests, parks and lush trails. :) But, with that said, every once in awhile it’s exciting to change things up and remove myself from my comfort zone. Urban senior sessions offer a unique edge, attitude and sass. And I love that. And my gorgeous Portland senior embodied the look, feel and vibe beautifully! Don’t you agree?
Savannah, thank you so, so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer! I absolutely LOVED working with you! I know we were both freezing in the bitter cold, but you were such a trooper and a total gem of a client! I hope you loved the experience as much as I did! You have an incredibly bright future ahead of you and I can’t wait to see where you go in this world- I know it will be great!! You’re going to take this world by storm, I just know it! Much love!!
