I have to begin this post by telling you how incredible Chris, Holly and their family’s are. Beyond incredible. Uber Amazing. :)
From the very first phone call with Holly, I felt like we were old friends. I could tell how sweet, caring and genuine she was and how pure her love was for her future husband, Chris. Over the course of eight months, we shared more phone calls and several emails. By the time Jeff and I showed up at the Rehersal Dinner, it felt like we were going to our own family gathering. Did I forget to mention how amazing they are? We were greeted with huge hugs and warm smiles, immediately feeling at home. It was just awesome.
Chris and Holly opted to see each other before the ceremony, which I think is a fabulous idea! We always find a private, pretty location for the big reveal and shoot from a distance (with a zoom lens). For Chris and Holly, we drove to The Yakima Arboretum, which was incredibly beautiful!! We had a private shoot with just the two of them, something I think all Brides & Groom’s should do! The outdoor ceremony was absolutely perfect at The American Homestead, located in Naches, Washington. It’s a rustic location at the base of massive rolling hills. Mother Nature’s beauty is on full display here, but it paled in comparison to the beauty of Chris and Holly’s love. Pure love. True love.
Chris and Holly, we are so grateful to both of you and your family’s for allowing us to share in your special day. We can’t wait to hear about your amazing Honeymoon! And you must know that our hearts smile when we think of you, too!! :) All because two people fell in love…
