Give me a river, an open field, and a beautiful sunset and I will always be a happy girl! No matter how many times I venture out to my favorite rustic park, it never gets old. Pisgah is always a popular choice for my Eugene senior clients– with so much versatility, how could it not be?! And, depending on the time of year that we shoot there, it can either be lush and colorful (in the Spring and early summer) or completed saturated in neutral, earthy tones (late summer and fall). Of course, this is always something I chat about with my clients to ensure the park will look aesthetically pleasing, based on the overall look they desire for their senior pictures.
Harper’s session took place in the late summer. It was crazy hot, as it always is in the Willamette Valley in August, but we refused to let that hinder her session. I absolutely love capturing the setting sun in my images, so I always book all of my senior portrait sessions for the last few hours of daylight. I’m a self-proclaimed sun-chaser because that’s exactly what I do throughout an entire session– I follow the sun until it’s too low to see anymore. Harper’s session was no exception, as you will see in all of her gorgeous images. What can I say? I love it!!
