It’s graduation season– also known as my favorite time of year! I am so excited to share Kiana’s college graduation portrait session on the blog today! We explored the University of Oregon, Autzen Stadium, and a beautiful nearby natural park at sunset. Her session took place on a gorgeous, sunny spring evening with one of the most beautiful sunsets! Although we shot all around campus utilizing various well-known buildings, we also took full advantage of all of the beautiful florals and nature we could find, too. In the end, we captured a beautiful blend of urban and nature vibes, which is always my favorite mix!
College graduation sessions are always so much fun! Unlike high school senior portrait sessions, which are typically booked for summer and fall, college grad sessions take place in the spring. Every season in Oregon is so unique, it’s exciting to explore and create year-round. There’s also something so special about these sessions because there is more of a finality to them– an elevated celebration of accomplishment. High school senior pictures are a right of passage– and definitely special and exciting in their own right. But college isn’t a route that everyone chooses, that alone makes these sessions unique.
