I have these butterflies in my tummy.  Monarch’s, because they are my favorite.  These butterflies flutter about from time to time, just to remind me that they’re there, you know, just in case I forgot or something.  But I haven’t.  It would be impossible to because they are the reminder of things to come.  Things that excite me.  Terrify me.  Provoke me.  Things that I know I was destined to do, no matter how much they scare me.  Things I know I have to (at the very least) try to do.  Things that I will be announcing in 2011, a year that is sure to be all about growth and pushing boundaries in my business and in myself.

Two weeks ago I met up with Stephani and her mom in downtown Bend for a photo shoot.  I was so excited about getting to head back over the mountain to Bend because, as you know, I am totally smitten with Bend.  The morning of her shoot was a little overcast, no big deal.  But as I stepped outside to get into my car, the rain began.  It was only downhill from there, as far as the weather goes.  Stephani is quite amazing and an absolute trooper, as we proceeded to ignore Mother Nature and move forward with our plans to do a session.  It was about forty minutes into the shoot when the temperature dropped noticeably and the three of us were turning blue.  Not exactly a great look for photos.  :)  We decided to cut the session short and reschedule for a shoot in Spring- which I am thrilled about, as it will surely be gorgeous!  (I have to add that it started snowing only minutes after we finished!)

Stephani, thank you so much for your willingness to do a session, despite the terrible weather.  I absolutely love what we got and I hope you do, too!  I can’t wait to meet up with you again for the remainder of your Luxe session!  You were so much fun to work and had the cutest outfits!  I can’t wait to see what you bring next time!  :)  You rock!

Okay, can I just say that my clients have the best outfits and boots known to mankind?  Seriously!

I absolutely LOVE Bend’s downtown area for sessions- I think it’s my favorite in all of Oregon.
