I discovered my desk this week. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I sit at my desk. A lot. Editing, blogging, social media… Yeah, it’s all done from the comfort of my desk. But lately it seemed that an explosion of sorts had occurred at my workspace, papers everywhere, old junk mail- still unopened, random knickknacks and hundreds of post-it notes- my reminders that were too busy hiding to actually remind me of anything. It was appalling, dear internet, and I had reached my limit. So, after hours of sorting, filing, cleaning and rearranging, I now feel like after tackling that beast of a project, I can take on anything that life throws my way! :)
Last week I met up with Shelbi, who drove up to Eugene from Roseburg to do her senior session. Due to the crazy Oregon winter, we had to reschedule her session several times (thank you Mother Nature). When the sun decided to come out and play on the day of her shoot, I was over the moon! For those of you who don’t live in the Northwest, you know that sun rarely makes an appearance November through February. :) Now, don’t get me wrong, it was definitely cold- but it wasn’t wet, so we considered this to be a win. Shelbi, a total rockstar in my book, didn’t let the cold faze her. It was amazing!
Shelbi, thank you so much for making the trek up to Eugene! I had so much fun with you and your mom during your session. :) You are such an awesome girl and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you- I know it will be great! I hope you love your pictures!
While I have done several shoots in this area, we found a new location that rocked my world! :) So stoked!
The image below is one of my favorites from the day! Shelbi, you totally nailed the pose- love it!
Despite no rain, Shelbi had the coolest pair of rainboots. :) We just had to use them for a few poses!
Shelbi, you are absolutely gorgeous!
