With Spring taunting us in the distance, I can tell you that I am eagerly awaiting her arrival! Going back and looking at sessions we did this past fall has given me the itch to get out and create. This has only been magnified since tuning in to Sue Bryce on CreativeLIVE today. :) She absolutely rocked it today and I am incredibly inspired by her approach, style and business methods- she is a girl after my own heart, for sure. This past fall I had an idea to do a concept shoot in a studio. I wanted something clean, simple and focused solely on the girls. Emphasis on the posing and no emphasis on the location. I titled the concept Simplicity- and it was exactly that. White backdrops, simple clothing, creamy makeup… It was such an amazing day for me, as it took me out of my comfort zone of shooting outdoors in natural light and challenged me to embrace studio lighting and backdrops. Overall, I loved the experience and am planning on doing more Simplicity shoots in the future.
Breanna, thank you so much for traveling up for this photo shoot. You are like a breath of fresh air, not only are you absolutely beautiful, you are incredibly sweet and so funny! I had the best time working with you! I hope you love you pictures!! Much love!
