My hubby is determined to get me more organized. We have been living in the world of Evernote and iCal for the past few days, trying to sync our lives and business to the best of our advantage, which is complicated, to say the least! Haha! You see, when it comes to office work, I have always conducted the business side of things, aside from the random sending of emails and the occasional upload of images. When I started, I didn’t have a process, though over the past five years, I have created one, as unorthodox and pseudo-organized as it is, it’s mine. I like to call it organized chaos. :) To any of you who own your own business, you probably feel my pain.
Things have gotten quite crazy around here (in a good way) and I pretty much begged Jeff to step in and help me out. He, being the amazing hubby and all-around superstar that he is, agreed. But, now that I asked for it, I have to accept his help and welcome the changes that are happening, which is quite hard for me. Simply because I haven’t ever relied on anyone else to do it for me, relinquishing control is a bit scary and foreign. But I am adjusting. (I promise, hubby, I am trying!) Haha! In all honesty, there is no other person on this planet that I would rather have by my side as the business changes and grows, knowing he is there, only makes me more excited and ready for things to come. I am one lucky girl.
Last month I had the opportunity to travel up to Seattle, Washington to teach my Be Inspired Workshops to a group of amazing photographers. Kiana was one of the beautiful high school girls who came out to model for us. The moment she walked in the door and we all got to see her fabulous curls, we were all giddy to get her in front of our cameras! :) Kiana is such a beautiful girl, both inside & out. Happiness and laughter exudes from her, which only made me adore her more! Kiana, thank you so much for such an amazing shoot- you were so much fun to work with and I hope you have the best senior year! Much love!!
Special Thanks to Joyworks, the amazing boutique who graciously styled our high school girls during this workshop and Elise Marie Photography for being our incredible hostess! You girls are the best!!
