It would appear that sleep is evading me these days. For some inexplicable reason, I could be dragging all day long, but by nightfall I am wired with hundreds of ideas buzzing around my brain, like honey bees to a hive. When your mind is moving a million miles a minute, the concept of shutting your eyes and closing your thoughts down is impossible. I am leaning more and more toward forming a Night Crew with me fellow Night Owls so we can converse and bounce ideas off of each other- who’s with me? If only I could train my brain to come to life twelve hours sooner… Oh the things I could accomplish then! ;)
I am so excited for next month to get here, as it kicks off the first of our four Oregon Photography-Focused Workshops! The format of these Workshops are a little different than our Be Inspired Workshops. The consistent request that I received from Photographers was that they needed more guidance behind the camera, a smoother system when it came to posing, engaging and lighting their subject. With your requests in mind, I revamped the Workshop entirely, giving us more time behind the camera, creating and defining styles. The new format is catered to photographers looking to up their game when it comes to their photography, as there are a total of 4 photo shoots with a 10 models, as well as 2 complete concepts. I will be teaching my 5-in-1 shooting system, which simplifies the posing process, allowing you more time to connect with your clients and less time fumbling with your camera and reworking poses countless times. We still have a few seats left at each of the Workshops, if you would like to join us!
Last month I had the opportunity to travel to Houston, Texas to teach a Workshop with an amazing group of girls who reside in Texas and Louisiana. While there, we worked with six high school girls, who I adored to pieces! I am so excited to feature Amanda today, the last of the three models from Day One. (Last week I posted Cadie & Kayley‘s session, in case you missed them!) Amanda, you are such a sweetheart and I loved having the opportunity to work with you! Thank you so much for all of your patience as I posed you over and over and over again by those doors- you are a rock star!! I hope you love your images!! Much love!
