Yesterday I saw the sun for the first time in weeks. And I don’t mean that figuratively. Throughout most of January, we have been buried under a thick and gloomy fog bank here in Eugene- it’s anything but pretty. And I am convinced it has been sucking the life out of me, I’ve never felt more sluggish in all my life! Trust me, I’m generally not one to complain about Oregon and I know that there are many of you out there who are much colder than us right now, but I have to tell you, I am so over this depressing fog. You can imagine my excitement yesterday when a sliver of sunshine crept through the blinds in my office, I immediately scrambled to the window to enjoy ten minutes of sunshine, before the sun disappeared behind the horizon. Spring, I am eagerly awaiting your arrival…
Fortunately, I can celebrate the sunshine today by sharing Anna’s beautiful senior session. :) I absolutely LOVED having the opportunity to work with Anna, she is so real and so much fun to be around, it was awesome simply getting to know her. It’s amazing to me that this, photographing high school seniors, is what I get to call work. Because it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like connecting. And the fact that I get to connect with teen girls and celebrate who they are for a living… I am incredibly grateful and truly blessed. Anna, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to be your senior photographer. I loved the experience so much and I hope you did, too! Best wishes to your future, I know it will be amazing! Much love!!
