I have an obsession with vintage things. Pictures. Jewelry. Fabrics. Clothing. You name it, if it’s vintage, I’m smitten. :) So you can imagine my excitement when one of my future bride’s, Ashley, came to me with idea of doing a vintage inspired engagement shoot with her fiance, Zach. I was giddy! Instantly, I knew we had to do their session at Mt. Pisgah, simply because it has a natural, country feel with overgrown grass, an old barn, and a gorgeous river. Unfortunately, due to all of the rain we’ve had lately, we weren’t able to get down to the river, however, we were able to shoot near a clearing where we could see it. :)
Ashley & Zach, your session was absolutely amazing for Jeff and I. :) How playful, loving and sweet you two are with each other made documenting your love a treat for us. We absolutely cannot wait for your wedding next year, after spending this short amount of time with you two, we know your wedding is going to be so much fun and absolutely beautiful! We hope you love your images as much as we do! Thank you so much for choosing us to share in your love. Enjoy!
I absolutely LOVE shoes, so any chance I have to capture them in an image, it’s going to happen. :)
The image below is one of my absolute favorites from the session. So simple and so romantic all at the same time.
Ashley, you are stunning!!
Zach had the idea for each of them to write a letter to each other and read them during the session, as the next several months of their relationship will take place via hand-written letters while Zach is serving our country. Isn’t he romantic? :)
Love, love, love…
