As many of you know, our Be Inspired Interviews have always been featured on Friday’s. However, after a little discussion between my hubby and I, we decided to move them to Monday’s, so we can kick off the week right- with a little inspiration, of course! :) I am so, so excited for our interview this week with Christine Meintjes, an amazing photographer based out of Cape Town, South Africa. I had the opportunity to meet her in Vegas while at WPPI. Unfortunately, I was very sick and wasn’t able to talk with her too long, but I am determined to meet up with her again so we can talk longer. I’m addicted to my jean. I love traveling and I’m married to my best friend.

Simplistic, stylish, clean, eligant, natural.
What is your specialty?
Weddings.
What inspires your work?
I love minimalist design and gorgeous details! Anything modern and clean inspires me.
Where is your dream location to do a shoot or wedding?
Maldives or italy :)
Divulge one of your dreams for your business:
I’d love to shoot a receipe book one day :)
What do you love most about being a photographer?
I love how I can tell stories with my photos.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In my house, making food for my family and smiling seeing all the photos of happy memories on the walls.
If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be & why?
I’d love to meet Richard Brandson. I think he’s a very interesting guy and I love his fun approach to business.
What advice do you have for new photographers?
Never ever compare yourself to other photographers! There is only one of you. Learn as much as you can. Share as much as you know, but never ever compare :)
