As I enter the slow-down phase of another busy senior season, I am still trying to catch my breath. September came and went in a total blur. It was a month filled with lots of senior sessions, running my ONLINE WORKSHOP, teaching at CONFERENCE TWELVE and balancing life with our active family. Needless to say, I feel like I blinked and September was gone. I welcome the change of pace that October brings with open arms. It’s the perfect time to reflect and plan for what’s ahead.

There are a lot of exciting changes happening in my business right now. Some of these changes are still in the works, while others I jumped into the minute I returned from Denver (Conference Twelve). Being around an incredible group of talented photographers was so inspiring and empowering. It opened my eyes, filled my heart and motivated me to think about the future of my business in a whole new light. And I couldn’t be more excited or grateful. I welcomed the insight I received from others and it gave me the perspective I needed. Believe me when I tell you that 2018 is going to be an amazing year! Stay tuned, because it’s going to be good…

Today, I am so excited to celebrate the lovely, Marisa, on the blog. This beautiful girl is one of my 2018 Senior Models from the Corvallis area. Marisa travelled down to Eugene for her senior session on a gorgeous sun-filled afternoon. Her first stop was at the salon with my Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist, Anna. What I love most about Anna’s work is that my girls still look like my girls when she’s completed their hair and makeup. It’s elevated, but still natural, which is so important. After Marisa’s look was completed, we drove to one of my favorite locations for her senior session, which was nothing short of gorgeous! We found the best hidden gems to shoot in, along the sides of buildings and courtyards. The results were beautiful! Marisa, I loved working with you!
