When my Kansas client (YUP! I said Kansas!), contacted me about her senior session with hopes of capturing both urban and natural senior pictures during her Oregon adventure, I was all for it! I love when my clients bring ideas to the table and have an idea of what they are looking for. It’s so much fun bringing their vision to life, I love the challenge and watching their excitement grow during the course of the shoot. Chandler was the perfect client for me. She had some ideas for her shoot, but she also gave me the creative freedom to just do what I do and let the session organically unfold and simply happen. Needless to say, I loved every single minute of it!
Chandler’s session started at the salon with our licensed professional, Anna, to have her hair styled and a beautiful makeup application. Four of our collections include complimentary makeup and hair, as I feel that it truly elevates the senior experience for our clients. Having had the luxury of being pampered before a photo shoot in the past, I know just how amazing this process is. I love that I am able to extend this service to my senior clients and they love it, too! Having photo-ready makeup and hair is a vital step to my editing process, too. With professional makeup, I no longer airbrush my clients skin because their skin already looks flawless, thanks to Anna! I couldn’t be more proud about this huge change in my senior business for the Class of 2017!
Chandler, you are an absolute doll and I had so much fun working with you! I still can’t believe you travelled all the way from Kansas for your senior pictures and you have no idea how incredibly honored I am to have been your senior photographer! You are a dream of a client and I just adore you! I’m crossing my fingers that Oregon won your heart while you were here and that you choose to go to college here. Um, how much fun would that be?!
