The backlog of senior sessions that I need to share on the blog is a little overwhelming. Scratch that. It’s VERY overwhelming! But, I’m trying not to think about that, knowing that if I remain focused on writing one post at a time, I’ll get through it. Finding the time to blog lately has been my biggest hurdle. While most people hate blogging, I actually love it. So, I’ve decided to make it a major priority to get back on track. Brace yourself, friends! I have so many sessions to share and I am finally getting them posted! Yay!
For those of you who know me, you know that I absolutely love where I live. My roots run deep here. The mountains, rivers, waterfalls and forests own my heart. I’m an hour from the Pacific Ocean and two hours from the Cascade Mountains. Both are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Oregon is my home and I love her. I’ve lived here my entire life, but it wasn’t until I became a photographer that I realized how much I love where I live. I took it for granted, not realizing how lucky I was to live in such a beautiful place. When I started seeing Oregon through a lens, it opened my eyes to just how breathtaking she really is. As a senior photographer, I am so lucky to celebrate Oregon- and my amazing clients!
When we started planning Melissa’s senior session, we quickly decided that finding somewhere near the Bend area would be ideal. Bend is one of my favorite places to shoot, so I was instantly down to travel over the mountain for her shoot. We decided on the perfect scenic location for her senior pictures and it was absolutely perfect! Melissa, I hope your senior pictures surpassed your expectations! I had so much fun working with you!
