When Abby and her mom contacted me to book her senior session, I was so excited! Her family was traveling up from California for one week over summer, so we had a small window of opportunity to make it happen. Each year, Abby’s family takes over her grandpa’s lodge at Triangle Lake. Her family has been coming to Oregon for years, so it definitely holds a special place in her heart. It only seemed fitting that she have her senior pictures taken there. The years of memories created and shared there with her family, makes it so much more than just a location.
I try to create variety in every senior session I do. One of the ways I achieve this, is by moving around to a mix of locations. We had so much fun walking around Abby’s grandpa’s expansive, lake-front property, finding several unique places to shoot during her session. The lake, a meadow, the gravel road leading to the lodge, a massive fallen tree, the dock and everything in-between.
Abby, I had so much fun chasing the sun with you! You are such a beautiful girl, inside and out! Thank you so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer!
