Today I poured my heart out on the Marlli Blog. It felt amazing, to just put it all out there. To speak from the caverns of my mind and voice my hopes and dreams for everyone to see. It’s a vulnerable place, but it’s the place I want to be. For those of you who don’t know what Marlli is, it is a blog I share with Marissa Lynn, a fellow photographer and amazing friend. Despite both of us being photographers, Marlli is NOT a photography blog. You see, Marissa & I are venturing into the great unknown and tackling the massive task of penning a novel. (Marissa & Holli = Marlli) ;) While I know I have some critics who think I am crazy for wanting to add Author to my resume, this is more than just a decision to write. This is what I was born to do. I can feel it. To read more about my heart for being a writer, I encourage you to venture over to the Marlli blog. We would LOVE to have your company over there!!
Back to my role as a photographer… :) I am so, so excited to finally share Cassidi’s gorgeous session with all of you! We did her session in the fall and I have been dying to get them up on the blog! When I met Cassidi, I instantly adored her! I know, I know, I say this about all of my clients. I don’t say it because it sounds good, I say it because I mean it. I am convinced that I have the most amazing clients and I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to work with them and call this my job. Cassidi is such a cool girl- totally Young & Free. We had so much fun shooting and talking about anything and everything, before we knew it, her session was done and none of us were ready to say goodbye.
Cassidi, I cannot begin to tell you how truly amazing I think you are. Girls like you remind me of why I love my job so much. Girls like you keep me inspired to be a photographer and create, even when things get crazy. :) I cannot thank you enough for that. Please know that Jeff and I absolutely love your family and cannot wait to see all of the amazing things ahead for you! We hope you love your images and that you loved the experience as much as we did! Much love!!
