Amber and I go way back.  We’ve been friends since before either of us had children.  There was a time in my life when I used to do hair, which seems like a lifetime ago now.  :)  Amber was one of my clients and I absolutely adored her!  I still do.  :)

When she contacted me to setup a family photo shoot, I was so excited!  I hadn’t seen her in years (aside from Facebook photos) and the last time I had photographed her son, Jayden, he was an infant.  :)  One of the things I love most about my job as a photographer is the fact the people are trusting me with their memories.  These portraits are their heirlooms.  One day they will be the glimpse of the people we once were.  I get to document and preserve these moments in their lives, all with the push of a button.

How amazing is that?

Chad, Amber & Jayden, it was so wonderful spending the afternoon with you guys.  You are such a beautiful family!  I hope you love your images!!  Jayden- you are the best little model.  Ever.  :)
