Say hello to this gorgeous blonde bombshell, Katie! She is one of my amazing 2019 Senior Models, so you’ll be seeing her face on the blog a lot in the future! Katie recently modeled for a full-day IN-PERSON MENTORING workshop with the lovely, GWEN SHOEMAKER. During Gwen’s 1-on-1 mentoring day, we covered a multitude of topics that ranged from pricing and session workflow, all the way to posing and location scouting. The great thing about 1-on-1 mentoring is that it allows us to focus on key topics in-depth. With a full day to spend together, we were able to cover both business and photography. Following our coaching session in my photography studio, we ventured out for an urban senior session with Katie. I walked Gwen through how I work with light, implement flow posing and what types of locations I look for. It was so much fun!
