Summer is officially here and that means Senior Season is in full swing! As a senior photographer, this time of year has always been the craziest for me. Now that my kids are older (my son just graduated last month from high school and my daughter will be a junior in the fall), I have been scaling back my photography business. For the past 15 years, my business has been all about seniors and my summers were always loaded with sessions. Last year, I decided to reduce my typical goal of 40 sessions back to just 20. I went over my goal and ended up with 23 for the Class of 2022. This year, I have the same goal of 20– which honestly feels like the perfect number these days.
Although I am shooting less, I still love my job! And I have the best clients, like Sierra. Girl, you were an absolute dream client! I had so much fun chasing the sun and working with you! You absolutely radiate happiness and light. I love that about you! Side note– every single time I look at your pictures, you still remind me of Florence Pugh! Like, you are her doppelgänger! I hope you loved every minute of your session and the beautiful pictures we created together.
