Early Bird Registration officially opens TODAY for these 2014 Workshops. From now until December 9th, 2013, you will save $250 off your registration to a Holli True Workshop! Space is limited to just 9 attendees per event. I have found that this is the magic number for Workshops. Having a smaller group allows me more hands-on time with each of the attendees, I love that! The shooting groups are also smaller, (2-3 photographers per group, maximum!) which results in more interaction with our lovely models and more images for everyone.
Our 2014 Workshops will include 2 photo shoots, one on each of the two days of the event. Day One will be all about posing and interaction. We will work on-location with our “models”. However, these aren’t actual models. The point is to teach you how to pose and interact with real clients- so they will need direction from you. I will be there to help and assist in perfecting the posing, showing you little tips and tricks along the way. I will cover angles, perspective, variation, hands, feet and so much more.
Day Two is all about inspiration and creation. A themed concept will be designed for you with various locations to shoot in. This is a visual playground intended to get your creative wheels moving- let your imagination run free! We will have more “models” for you to work with, I will continue to assist you with your posing and showing you various ways to work within each area, utilizing the space.
I will demonstrate firsthand how I work within an area, spending more time engaging my clients and less time moving from location to location. I will show you how I connect with my clients and get them to open up to me in front of the camera. When you walk away from this workshop, you will have an understanding and new found passion for posing and interacting with your clients. You will see the difference in your images immediately.
We will have a keynote presentation each day of the workshop, covering various topics. Day One will center around all things photography. Style, posing, interaction, natural light, concept shoots and staying inspired. Day Two will be focused on the business side of things. Branding, marketing, pricing, social media, sales and post-processing. Both days allow time for Q&A, no questions are off-limits!
