I don’t know about you, but working from home and spending lots of time by myself during the workday, I find myself craving connection. I think one of the toughest things about being a full-time photographer is how isolating it can be. Although I am incredibly grateful to be able to work from home, there are certain things I miss about being in a workplace. People, conversation, lunching with friends…

2017 has been my year of connection. I’ve made it a point to be more involved in communities and connect with my peers on a real level. A few weeks ago, I decided it was time to take the next step and I created the FACEBOOK GROUP FOR SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHERS. After years of being asked by workshop attendees and photographers that I had mentored and/or met at conferences, I took the leap of faith and went for it! My hope is that YOU will join in on the fun and join the conversation!
