Good things…

My life has been traveling at warp speed.  I can’t help it, I can’t control it, I can’t stop it…  So many amazing things are beginning to happen to me and I just can’t seem to wrap my brain around it.  It feels surreal, like I am in a fantastic dream and any minute I will wake up only to discover it really was too good to be true.

First off, I have been approached by none other than the incredible Dane Sanders (!!!) to be a participant in his Mentor Program!  I was floored!!!  I don’t really have all the details yet, but what I do know is that this is an amazing opportunity and I am truly honored!  I will be blogging all about it, so stay tuned!

Second, I will be meeting my idol, Jasmine Star (another !!!) in, like, 10 days!!!  I am totally freaking out!  She is so fabulous and so awesome- I am totally counting down the days!!  She’s speaking at the PPO seminar in Portland next weekend and I fully intend on being front row and center for her presentation!  I also fully intend on snapping a photo with her as proof that I actually got to meet her!  How often do you get to meet your idol?  Seriously?!?!  She spoke last week on Photo Mentor and when she saw my name for one of the questions, she totally remembered me and gave me a little shot-out!  It was amazing!

Third, I am in the process of organizing a fabulous 3-day Workshop for Photographers.  I will post more about this soon!!  All that I will say is that I am totally stoked about this project!!

Fourth, I am nearly finished my new website.  It has been many weeks of slaving over my computer, perfecting every inch of the new layout.  I am very proud of it and I hope that you will all love it!  I hope to have it rolled out by this weekend.  Yay!

To cap it all off, I received a sign that was so profound and so exactly what I needed to hear, it literally sent chills through my entire body.  We went out for Chinese Food for my Grandma’s birthday and when our server brought out the fortune cookies, I eagerly took one from the platter.  When I read my little piece of paper, my insides tingled.  I turned to Jeff with my jaw dropped wide-open and exclaimed, “You won’t believe my fortune!”  He gave me a half smile and quickly asked, “What is it?”  I read aloud the following:

fortune-1001

I tucked this baby in my wallet!!
