I’ve received so many sweet messages from so many of you regarding my writing pursuits and I just had to begin this blog post by saying thank you!! You have no idea how much your continued love and support means to me! For those of you that have asked, yes, I am currently working on my second novel that will be released either late 2014 or early 2015. The title of my next book is, “Summer of Gray”. It’s a stand-alone novel, meaning it isn’t part of a series, following the eventful summer of eighteen year old, Ellie Ford. I’ll be posting some excerpts and sneak peeks on my author site, if you’re interested, I’d love to see you over there! ;) Again, thank you so much for all of your kind words and encouragement as I chase this little dream of mine.

As a writer, I love the rain- but as a photographer, sometimes it makes me a little crazy, since it’s less than ideal to shoot in! I have been so eager to share Hadley’s gorgeous session, I finally couldn’t wait any longer! Oh my goodness, did we have the best time during her senior session! Hadley travelled down from Corvallis to Eugene for her senior pictures late this past summer. Even though I was meeting her and her mom for the first time, for some reason, it felt like I had known them for years, right from the start- and I loved that! Hadley, you are such a beautiful girl, inside and out and I absolutely LOVED working with you! The camera absolutely loves you and as I was editing your images, I had the hardest time trying to narrow down the final images because you rocked your shoot like a pro! Thank you so, so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer, I hope you loved the experience as much as I did! Much love!!
