As most of you know, I am a huge fan of Jasmine Star!  She is such an amazing photographer and an even more amazing person!!  Jeff and I were so fortunate to have met her and husband, JD, this past February.  Anyway, I check out her blog a few times a week to see what she’s been up to.  This morning she posted that she had been asked to be a judge for I ♥ Faces, a blog that hosts weekly contests on different categories- all centering around faces, of course. Sounds like fun, so I thought I’d give it a try!

  When shooting, I go for genuine emotion.  I don’t want stiff or posed expressions, so I interact with my couples as much as I can, surely making a fool of myself sometimes- but hey, I’ll do what I gotta do to get the look I’m going for!!  :)  The picture I’ve chosen for my entry, is actually from the set I just posted last week, from Chris & Holly’s Wedding. For this shot, we actually told Holly ahead of time to resist a kiss from Chris- he had no idea why she kept avoiding him. It was hilarious! When Jeff and I started laughing, he realized what was going on and kissed her neck, which made her giggle. It was adorable!
