There are not enough words to describe how much I love what I do. While chatting with the amazing girls in my Mentorship program last night, I told them about when I was starting out in the Photography industry. If you would’ve asked me when I first started what I would be doing now, four years later, I would have told you I would be specializing in children’s photography. Seniors, more specifically senior girls, was not something I was actively pursuing when I first started. However, it was during a trip to Vegas for a fun getaway with my hubby that I booked two fateful shoots with senior girls that changed everything for me. Everything changed in that moment and now I cannot imagine doing anything else- nothing fulfills my photography cravings like senior portraits. :)
We recently had an amazing time with Jordynn and her mom, who came up from Medford to Brownsville for her senior session. The moment we greeted them, I knew it was going to be an amazing day! We spent a few hours utilizing all of the amazing locations that Brownsville has to offer- it is hands-down one of my all time favorite places to do shoots in Oregon. :) There is such a great mix of textures to play off of, as well as one of the cutest towns I have ever been to! We had so much fun getting to hang with them and ooh and ahh over Jordynn’s amazing fashion sense and killer accessories! It was perfect!
After the shoot, Karla left us this heartfelt message on our Facebook wall:
“Being back at work this week has given me a little time to reflect back on our experience this past weekend getting Jordynn’s pictures taken. Being from Medford we went out on a limb and drove up to Eugene hoping to get some good senior pictures. What we got instead was a mother daughter experience that will last a lifetime. We want you to know how truly amazing this past weekend was.You far exceeded our expectations. Jordynn felt completely at ease, and the way you guided her through the process was very much appreciated. From the time spent with your make up artist to the video your husband is creating, every aspect was well thought out and professional.I literally spent hours on the internet searching for just the right person to take senior pictures, and I believe I found it.
