I love this time of year!  Weddings are in full swing and senior sessions begin!  :)  Photography has evolved over the years and I think it’s exciting!  I find change to be refreshing, thrilling, and necessary.  I never want to be stagnant, I always want to move forward and try new poses, locations and lighting techniques.  Working in a creative industry- like photography- means we get to push the boundaries and ourselves to delivery something new, something fresh and something different.

When I received an email from Katie about her senior session, I was so thrilled!  She was so excited about her shoot and tons of questions and ideas and even spent an afternoon with her mom scouting out the perfect locations for her shoot!  How cool is that?  I love when my clients take on some of the creative control because then we get to collaborate- which makes for even better session!  Katie did just this!  We had so much fun and she totally rocked her shoot!  :)  She even let us photograph a few pictures of her before soccer practice, which was Jeff’s idea since soccer has been such a big part of her high school life.

Katie- thank you so much for choosing us as your senior photographers.  You were amazing to work with!  Hopefully we can make it to a few soccer games and see you in action!  :)  We hope you love your pictures and wish you much success in your bright future!
