For those of you who know me, or have followed my blog for any length of time, you know how much I love Twilight.  As in Bella & Edward, not the time of day.  ;)  What many people don’t know is that the first film in the saga was actually filmed in Oregon, as well as parts of Southern Washington.  For the movie, they used Indian Beach as “La Push Beach”, which is located up near Canon Beach.  So, when Katy and her mom contacted me and decided to do her senior session at Indian Beach, you can imagine my excitement!  Yes, please!

The Oregon Coast is truly breathtaking.  The gorgeous mix of lush greenery, weathered driftwood, soft sand and glistening surf is absolutely picturesque.  It isn’t often that I get the opportunity to do sessions on the beach, though I wish I did- when you see Katy’s pictures, you’ll understand why.  Katy is the epitome of Young & Free.  Splashing around in the waves without a care in the world, filling the world with joyous laughter… Yes.  Katy is Young & Free.  And I love that about her!

Katy, oh my goodness, I seriously adore you, girl!  I had the most amazing time working with you, I cannot begin to express in words just how fabulous I think you are.  :)  Thank you so, so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer.  I hope you loved the experience as much as I did!  I hope we have the opportunity yo work together again one day!  Much love!!
