Over the past few months I have had such an amazing time connecting with photographers during our 1-on-1 Essentials Workshops. When I first decided to offer this type of workshop, I wasn’t sure if it was something that people would be interested in. Essentials is structured totally different than our Be Inspired Workshops, as it is a one day event and what we teach is dependent upon our attendee. No questions or topics are off-limits. We cover anything and everything you want to chat about and we also work with two high school models during two sessions. It is a very hands-on workshop with a lot of emphasis on posing, lighting, technique and engaging. I look forward to all of the future Essentials Workshops we have scheduled. If you are interested in scheduling a 1-on-1 with us, you can find more info about it here!
We recently travelled up to Portland to meet with a fabulous photographer, Jasmine Placito. There is something so unique and special about shooting in Portland, it is one of my favorite places to work, as it offers so many backdrop options on every street corner. We worked around a small radius, taking advantage of everything the gorgeous city had to offer and needless to say, I am beyond thrilled with what we captured of our beautiful model, Kayla. One of the things I love demonstrating to people is how you can do a lot with a little- that working around a small space is actually a great thing, as it allows us to spend more time engaging with our clients and less time moving from place to place. :)
Jasmine, I cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience. I loved getting to know you and connecting with you! I can’t wait to see your images from this workshop- I know they will be gorgeous! :) To Kayla, thank you so, so much for coming out to shoot with us on such short notice! You absolutely rocked it! I cannot thank you and Debora enough for everything! I hope you absolutely love your pictures! Much love!!
