I am so excited to introduce, Savannah, the first Class of 2019 senior session featured on the blog this year! She wanted to do her senior session at a lavender farm, so we met up in Portland, Oregon during the Lavender Festival. It was crazy hot and because we did most of her session in an open field, we had to battle shooting in the full-sun. Savannah was an absolute trooper, though! The funny thing about shooting at a festival, was also working around the thousands of people (yes, thousands!) who were attending the event. We conquered the sun, overcame the crowds and created some gorgeous senior portraits!

~SAVANNAH
Savannah was born deaf, but she has a COCHLEAR IMPLANT in her left ear that allows her to hear. My grandma received the same implant 15 years ago, which absolutely changed her life. It was also life-changing for Savannah. Having the ability to hear things like music and laughter, thanks to the implant, is truly a miracle! When Savannah requested that we take a few photos highlighting her Cochlear Implant, I loved the idea! It’s a special part of who she is and it definitely needed to be highlighted in her senior pictures. :) So awesome!
Thank you so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer, Savannah! I had the best time hanging out and getting to know you during your session! You are one of the sweetest, most sincere people I have ever worked with and I absolutely adore you to pieces! Your session was the perfect start to what has been an amazing senior season! I hope you loved the experience and your photos! Much love!
