::Mallory & Derek:: Eugene Oregon Wedding Photographer

As our 2010 wedding season is nearing it’s end, I find it to be very bittersweet. While this past summer and fall has been a total whirlwind, a little chaos mixed with loads of love, we have loved every single last minute of it. We have the greatest clients. Ever. It’s more than an honor to share in their love, to be a part of their lives, to document and preserve one of the most important days of their lives. It’s so humbling and we just feel so blessed to be able to do what we do. The fact that we also love it- I mean, it’s almost surreal. :)

Over the past few years, I have exchanged countless emails and texts with Mallory. The faith and trust she and Derek had in us was downright baffling and so incredible to me, I almost didn’t know how to react at first. They hired us when we were still aspiring to be wedding photographers. With a portfolio consisting of 2 weddings, Mallory and Derek came to us with the decision already made that we were going to photograph their wedding. Words cannot begin to explain the way that made me feel. Someone actually wanted US, not just because we fit in their budget. I was practically walking on air. :) Honest.

Mallory and Derek, I cannot tell you how honored we were to share in your day. You two are absolutely amazing and we love you both to pieces. :) Your love for each other is so pure and so amazing. I can’t wait to see where life takes you two, and of course Mr. Brayden. :) We hope that you LOVE your pictures!!

Mallory and Derek opted for a first look, which I believe to be the best option for our clients. A first look allows you to really absorb the moment, together. You can kiss, hug, or even cry. The moment is private and sacred and yours. :)
