I had the best of intentions. I really did. I sat down last week and I wrote out my blog calendar for the remainder of February and most of March, filling Monday-Friday with witty topics, sessions and announcements. And now, here it is Thursday, nine days later, and I only have two blog posts to show for it. Fail…
Try as I might, I seem to be struggling with maintaining my blog these days. Why? I really have no idea. But it is very frustrating for me, as I LOVE blogging. It’s the writer in me. Filling the blank screen with these little black letters brings me so much joy, it’s actually kinda embarrassing just how happy it makes me! Please know, dear internet, I really am trying to be a diligent photographer/blogger, I assure you, I will get back into my regular routine soon. I hope.
The hubby and I are getting ready to jet-set to Vegas for WPPI in two days. Needless to say, we are so, so excited to nerd out and submerge ourselves in the crazy world of all-things-photography-related for five whole days!Yes, please! While we’re there, we’re also planning to spend some much needed time pool-side. Just being honest… ;) If any of you will be there and happen to see us- either at the tradeshow, in the halls, pool-side or the piano bar (heck, yeah!!) please say hi! I would LOVE to meet you!!
Before I sign off for the afternoon so I can begin the insane task of packing, I am so, so excited to share McKenzie’s senior session with you! I have been dying to feature her session for months now! Working with McKenzie was absolutely amazing, she is such a cool girl with a killer personality, I could seriously create beauty with her every single day of the week. I LOVE this girl!! Check out her session and I think you’ll see that I’m totally being real!
McKenzie, I can’t thank you enough for such an awesome senior shoot! You rocked it!! You have the rare gift of being so natural in front of the camera that every photograph of you looks effortless. As a photographer, this is such a treat. You have a heart of gold and a smile that absolutely radiates like the sun. You are what Young & Free is all about and I cannot thank you enough for choosing me to be your photographer. I hope you love your senior pictures as much as I do! Much love!!
