I have now had the opportunity to visit Nelson Ghost Town on two separate occasions. Despite exploring the area for hours with models and my camera, there is still so much that I haven’t covered. If you’ve never been to Nelson Ghost Town, you’re missing out! If you have been there, you know firsthand how amazing and extensive it truly is. I can’t wait to go back and explore some more!
The images featured in this post are from my trip to Las Vegas with three of my photography friends, Jolene Dombrowski, Brittney Kluse and True Moua. We came together to host the Deconstructed Road Trip, which was basically a photography shootout on steroids. The day before the event, we decided to treat our amazing models to an extra shoot in the desert and reserved Nelson Ghost Town. It was amazing! It was my first time ever experiencing it and it did not disappoint! Not only did we luck out with a gorgeous, sunny day- keep in mind, it SNOWED the first few days we were there- our models were so amazing! Of course, I stayed true to me and spent most of my time capturing nature and light. It was exciting creating in a new environment, which is something I have really been challenging myself to do lately.
To the beautiful, Carmen, one of our amazing model’s (who also happens to be one of Jolene’s senior clients), you are such a beautiful girl. You have a heart of gold and an infectious smile that could light up a room. I had so much fun working with you, girl! Thank you so, so much for being a part of our adventure! Much love!!
