I absolutely love living in Oregon. I love that we have four seasons, that we are surrounded by mountains, rivers, trees and the Pacific Ocean. Living in the valley, we have the perk of only being one hour to the snow (in the winter) and one hour to the beach. Call me crazy, but I also enjoy the rain. I know, I know… Most people hate the wet stuff that falls from the sky, but I honestly like it, maybe even love it. I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve spent listening to the sound of the rain beating down on the roof- I could do it for hours! :) The only time I don’t like the rain, is when I have a shoot scheduled and the liquid sunshine interferes.
This was the case with Rich & Mary Jo’s engagement session. We had to reschedule two or three times before the weather finally agreed with us last weekend- and let me tell you, it was a gorgeous day! We met up in Jasper, Oregon at their wedding site. As we walked the grounds they showed me where they were going to have their ceremony and reception, I began to get all excited because I could totally picture how beautiful everything will be for their wedding. It’s going to be amazing!
Mary Jo & Rich are about the cutest thing I have ever seen. They are so sweet, gentle and loving to each other and it is so easy to see how much they adore one another. Genuine, pure love and admiration- it doesn’t get better than that. Mary Jo & Rich, we are so excited to share in your special day! Thank you so much for the amazing engagement session- we hope you love your pictures! We can’t wait for your wedding day! Enjoy!!
