Now that I have photographed my last senior session for the year, I am so excited to start blogging all of my gorgeous seniors! It has been such a crazy busy couple of months, it all feels like a blur. Days have blended into weeks, weeks into months and in the blink of an eye, we’ll be ringing in the new year! This feels like the perfect time to reflect on all of the amazing things that happened this year and celebrate my beautiful clients on the blog!
When we started planning Madisyn’s senior session, she fell in love with the idea of going to a lavender field. Since lavender fields are located on private farms, we had to schedule her shoot around a lavender festival, which definitely requires some extra planning and patience. Festivals always attract people and that can make shooting pretty tricky! We made it work by getting really creative with our location selection, playing with angles and perspective. To add some variety, we decided to drive to a small river park that I have driven by thousands of times, but had never actually stopped at. It was absolutely gorgeous and gave us the perfect backdrop for the remainder of her session. Needless to say, I am in love with the results!
Madisyn, I had the best time working you and exploring new places! I cannot thank you enough for traveling down all the way from Portland for your session! I hope you love your images as much as I do! Much love!!
