Happy Monday, Friends! Today, I am so excited to share Caitlyn’s rustic senior portrait session on the blog! Before I dig into the details of her shoot, I just have to say that I have neglected my poor little blog lately, which really bums me out! Even though I love to blog, it’s one of the first tasks I drop when things get crazy. And, trust me, things have been straight-up bananas around here lately! I usually have a slow season, but not this year! My winter months were loaded- we launched the CERTIFIED MADNESS PODCAST– which definitely kept me busy, held the Get Deconstructed Workshop in Las Vegas, hosted the EVOKE WORKSHOP in Sunriver, Oregon, and to top it all off, I have been DESIGNING WEBSITES non-stop! So, yeah, things have been a little nuts! Now, back to Caitlyn…
When Caitlyn and I started planning all of the details for her senior session, she knew she wanted to go somewhere rustic. Whenever a senior client wants rustic and nature, I usually recommend Pisgah. It’s one of the most beautiful places we have in Eugene. What I love most about Pisgah is that it isn’t perfectly manicured. Because it’s a natural park, the landscape and overall look is constantly changing. At the start of summer, it’s so lush and green and by the end of a dry summer, it’s mostly brown and overgrown. Truth be told, I love it at every stage.
Caitlyn, I had the best time hanging with you and your sister during your session. Despite how crazy hot it was, we managed to beat the heat and create some gorgeous images. You are such a sweetheart and your beauty radiates from the inside-out. Thank you so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer and for being a part of my 2019 Senior Model Team! I hope you have the best time in college! Much love!
