This past senior season was, without question, the busiest we have ever been. It was a little chaotic and crazy at times, but I absolutely loved every single last second of it! Sometimes it takes getting uncomfortable to get comfortable and when that happens, you open the door for growth and self-realization, which is exactly what happened for me. I learned that I had boxed myself in to believing I should only photograph seniors at one time of day: evening. So, when I started booking morning and afternoon sessions, I got a little nervous. Would the different light look like my photography and my brand or would it take on a new look and feel entirely?
What I discovered is that it forced me to get more creative, utilize each space better and by falling out of step with routine, I was inspired to change it up and refresh my imagery. It was a great lesson learned and I can honestly say that I have found a love for shooting at all times of day. Who knew? Case in point, Sydney’s senior session, which took place in the early morning hours. :) When is the last time you got uncomfortable with photography? I challenge you to do so!
Sydney is the epitome of a Young & Free girl, working with her was absolutely amazing and so much fun. With the wind in her hair and laughter in the air, Sydney absolutely rocked her session! She is a such a simple, no-fuss kind of girl and I feel that her images show this, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. :) Sydney, thank you so much for an amazing session! I hope you had as much fun as I did and that you love your images! Much love!!
