Yesterday I posted that Maui owns my heart. In some ways I believe this to be true- my wild heart anyway. Of course, my hubby and kids really own my heart, but given the fact that Maui has become a Heaven on Earth for all four of us, I guess it still isn’t too far from the truth. I know I sound like a broken record, but Maui truly is and always will be one of the greatest places I have ever been to. The trip could not have come at a better time for me. After the busiest summer of my career and finding myself glued to my desk for several weeks straight, our Hawaiian vacation was truly a dream come true.
My family (who stayed home) keep laughing at me when I say that Jeff and I have decided to make the trip every year. Of course, I don’t think this is funny. I am determined to make it happen- and if there is one thing you can count on me for- when I am determined, I make it happen. :) Maui cleansed my soul and I know it sounds crazy, but it gave me clarity. And I know myself and my workaholic tendencies, I will NEED this clarity on a regular basis. :)
Thank you to all of you have read about our journey to paradise. My blog is generally a tool for my business, though sometimes I use it for my own personal journalling, rants and dreams. I am going to leave you with a slideshow from our entire trip that I made for my son to share with his first grade classmates. :) I hope you enjoy it! Mahalo!
