Each year, I have a handful of clients who travel to Oregon for their senior pictures and I just love it! Sara and her family travelled up from California for a vacation at Brasada Ranch this past summer, while they were here, they decided to book a destination senior session with me! I have taken senior pictures all over Oregon, but this was my first time every visiting Brasada Ranch. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! There were so many beautiful spaces, unique locations and gorgeous open fields to shoot in- the biggest struggle we faced was running out of time to cover it all!
Oregon is totally known for it’s lush greenery, so you can imagine my surprise- and excitement over finding a patch of trees with sage green leaves. This is not a common occurrence for me at all! While it might look like I desaturated the color, I assure you, that was not the case! I had to take full advantage of taking a few photos there! During Sara’s session, we moved around to so many different places, all just a few minutes apart. We utilized an old barn, explored the grounds beneath the trestle bridge, walked the trails and finished her session at the top of the hillside, just in time for the sunset. It was a gorgeous evening!
Sara (and family), I can’t thank you enough for such an incredible senior session! I am so grateful that you introduced me to Brasada Ranch- hopefully, I will have more seniors choose to shoot there in the future! I loved every minute of my time with you and hope that our paths will cross again one day. XO!
