I realized recently that I have been a bad mommy and have not been taking very many pictures of my precious kiddos.  I know, right?  A photographer not taking pictures??  I guess it kind of goes back to that old saying about the landscaper having the worst yard in the neighborhood.  So, this past weekend I was determined to get some updated pics of my precious Cole-Man and Addi-Girl.  :)  The sun was shining and they were eager to get out and play, so I figured what could be better than a trip to the park?

This was the very first time my daughter wasn’t dodging my camera- so I consider this session a total success!  I started my career several years ago as a Child Photographer working at a studio called Picture People.  I learned so many amazing things working there about posing, lighting and ways to engage clients.  But I think the biggest lesson I learned there was patience.  Waiting for the perfect opportunity to capture your shot and to work until you get it.  :)  I still use these methods to this day- especially when working with children!  Enjoy!
